The Large Den / The Walled Den / Other Dens /

Burrowclan is the oldest of the three clans, and exactly what you would expect of them within their name rights. Under the surface of the hills lies a series of tunnels and dens. These seem to connect together in an intricate way and also provide multiple outlets to a range of their territory. Whatever created these long ago is gone and has allowed this clan to live for many moons in peace.

Burrowclan Territory

Golden Valley / Hidden Oasis / Sparse Aspens /

Most of Burrowclan is made of rolling hills and vast valleys. Not many trees can be found in this territory, though there are a few near the Lakeclan border. Tall grass dapples the valleys, and the tail end of Lakeclan's stream disappears into some sort of underground oasis. Prey and water can be found here for those that want to do the work.

The Split Log / The Secret Den / The Shore Dens /

Situated next to a small lake lies the camp of Lakeclan. These foxes have dug burrows and nests next to bushes and downed trees. Some have even made their homes next to a few of the larger rocks that dot the shoreline.

Lakeclan foxes are known for their fishing skills, as well as they should be with a lake and a stream running through their lands. However these cunning creatures also have a section of forest that they often visit for a taste of the home life. Bordered by both clans, these foxes seem to check borders more than most and often times are worn out by the end of the day.

Fieldclan Camp

The Marked Den / The Hillside Den / The Grass-Covered Dens /

When this group was formed, it was made sure that their camp was well hidden from the farm that was all too close by. Situated in tall grass and reeds, these foxes have made makeshift dens out of the stalks of the very plants their surrounded by. By bending a twisting the grass around itself, den covers have been made and burrows dug into the ground to expand and provide more room.

Fieldclan Territory

Stream Clearing / Dense Woodland / The Stone Wall /

Fieldclan is not so much made of fields as it is of brush and tall grass. These foxes aren't seen out in the open too much as most of their time is spent concealed by the tall plant-life. However, Lakeclan's stream cuts through their territory, giving way to a small forested area and a small clearing.

Should a fox veer right on their way to Echo Cave, before they push through the thick foliage, they will, with some searching, find a narrow trail leading down into a large clearing surrounded by plant life and filled with grass. All around the clearing are high rising walls of stone. At one end, many large fallen rocks make a path toward a ledge from which the leaders address the clan. There is a passage behind this ledge that leads into a large cave with a wide flat stone near the back, where the gathering may be held when it rains, though it is more cramped.

Echo Cave

Through some dense shrubbery hides a cave of many wonders. Follow it's windy entrance and you'll gaze upon a large clear crystal. It was named for the echoing of the water that drips upon the stone, though some elders might tell that it was in fact for the echo of ancient voices. Rumour has it that leaders and tyros may touch their nose to it to receive their lives and any sort of message from The Council that may need to be heard.

At the edge of the twoleg town lies a semi-rural dog kennel that is mostly outdoors with many runs, kennels and cages. It is a very dangerous place for a fox, who may get caught or attacked by dogs, though a brave and hungry fox may find the dog food very tempting and worth the reward of stealing.

Thunder Island

This supposed Island is actually the large grassy mound in the middle of a round about, named for the thunderpaths that circle around it and snake off in various directions. It is a very dangerous place to reach, though it’s a nice little hill with cool grass and a tree for shade.

The infamous Farm that Fieldclan raids, presents itself as a home to many other animals. From time to time, foxes will still go here to steal a good meal...but the farmer has upped his defense with traps and a dog. Only the sliest fox can come out of here victorious and unscathed.

Burnt Nursery
Footholds [Open] by jackvall
The Nursery was actually an exotic breeding facility that specialised in many different breeds of foxes, named for how many kits were often seen there. It is now nothing more than a long since abandoned, burnt out shell with a mostly caved in roof and crumbling walls. Many claim it to be haunted.

The Come and Go

Known as "the come and go place", foxes are still unsure of what this really is. To two-legs it's very simply called : a campground. Tents and campers come from all over to set up their makeshift and temporary homes. What the foxes are sure of is food is always left behind. Most of the time it's worth it to dig through the trash that's left behind for a few yummy morsels....but if one were to get caught, well that's another story.
