Mist that shrouds the sun Leader of Fieldclan
If there was a reason for where Mist’s snowy, speckled paws were carrying her through the ice coated lands of her home today, it was unbeknownst to her. Sometimes, with certain duties done and a little free time to herself, she simply loved to just...wander. She couldn’t help it, she hated lying idle. Even when there was nothing better to do but laze around, she simply had to move. After all, what if she happened upon prey she would have missed if she lay about gossiping with her clanmates back at camp? If she was looking for prey, perhaps she wasn’t looking in the best place. Still, while food was important, it wasn’t the sound reason why Mist was out and about, or why she’d happened to be where she was. The Stone Wall. Mist remember the times when it wasn’t there, before and during her kithood, when her clan had raided the farm freely in its early existence. That was, until the twoleg who owned the farm took precautions. Beyond the Wall the farm was littered with traps and prowled by dogs, and the twoleg had a strange stick that made a large banging noise and somehow could hurt or even kill a fox. It was risky, to say the very least, and down right terrifying if anyone were to truly admit to themselves. Fieldclan had lost too many foxes to that farm, and still some insisted on going back. That was why Mist had found herself here, though it was all based on a hunch. On Fieldclan’s side of the Stone Wall, the snowy, speckled fox was pacing along its edge, pressed near its cold surface with her nose lowered close to the ground. The normally happy go lucky leader found her tail held out warily behind her and her ears twitching anxiously as she sniffed, following the faint trail of a clanmate, and hoping to find it eventually veered away from the wall and deeper into their territory, rather than beyond it onto the farm. If another of her foxes took that risk...well, it was no secret. Mist would likely go after them with every intention of putting her own life at risk to save theirs. It wasn’t like she didn’t have enough to sacrifice as it was. If she could save one clanmate for every life, she would do so, even if it meant she would be gone. It would be a worthy way to die. //Hhhhh Mist is so pretty~ So is your writing hecc//
The clan had seemingly been in a sort of laze. The heavy clouds that threatened to spill overhead seemed to make everyone want to stay hidden away. The vixen didnt really blame them, it was already cold out and getting wet right now would suck. The snow would weigh down their pelts as well. Moon sighed a bit, dark honey eyes focused on the rising stone barrier. She had had no luck finding any prey within their territory, so this was her last option. Plus, it would be a bit of a challenge. A good challenge that would chase away the boredom and leave her heart racing for hours to come. With a curious glance, the fox peered through the small hole in the wall.The scent of fresh prey reached her nose, though it was dulled by the growing snow. The eyes scanned over the hard snow and ice once again. Traps, traps, traps. They were going to be covered now. Luckily the farmer smelled of human, like all others did, and didnt bother to cover up the scent. She would be able to scent them out if she went slowly. Her tri colored pelt was a stark contrast to the unbroken white fluff though. Moon would have to rely on luck to get her through.
"Chickens... eggs... and the rats that like to hide with them!" The thought made her mouth water. The farmer couldnt seriously be bothered that one chicken left. He had so many of them! The wind whipped around a bit and the vixen quickly pulled back into the safe side of the wall, frightened by the sudden disturbance. A nervous chuckle left her maw. A familiar scent was riding on the wind and the sound of paw steps nearing sent another excited thrill through her. Someone to keep watch! Hopefully the leader of her clan wasnt here to tell her off though, Moon was never around enough to hear her opinion on it. After a second, the fox bounded toward the end of the wall, toward the scent, before rounding it. It just so happened that the leader was turning at the same time. Moon sprang into the air, fur on edge before getting sent into a relief giggling fit. It was just her. That scared her!
"Hello there, Mist! You scared me!" Moon took in a deep breath to calm herself. "Are you here to hunt too?"

Mist that shrouds the sun Leader of Fieldclan
The second she rounded the corner, she almost slammed head first into a mass of golden fur, and she planted speckled paws to halt abruptly as the other fox leapt back in alarm. The second the other dissolved into a fit of giggles, Mist couldn’t help but follow suit, tail swaying and golden eyes sparking to echo her amusement as she eyed her clanmate. Already her anxiety was forgotten, pleased as she was to have found her clanmate on the Fieldclan side of the Stone Wall. Still, as the other vixen spoke, despite her wagging tail, Mist rose her chin and snorted derisively. “I was tracking you, mousebrain,” she pointed out. However, whatever contempt she seemed to show was all an act, and she soon found herself grinning with a waggling tail and golden eyes that shone brightly with amusement and lighthearted teasing. “But looks like I found ma’self a chicken instead. And on the wrong side of the wall, too! Just my luck!”Without warning, the snowy, speckled vixen hurled herself forward, aiming to topple her clanmate off her paws and knock her into the snow, with every intention of pinning her there beneath her as though she’d caught this supposed chicken she’d managed to be so lucky to find. "Im no chicken!" Moon danced on her paws, ready to run. A grin played on her muzzle while the dark ears laid across her skull, showing that everything she was doing was just in terms of play. A playful huff left her maw as the white pelted fox jumped toward her. Although she tried to get away, the lighter pelted female was too quick. Moon reached up and softly bopped the clans leader as a defeat. The female wiggled out from under the larger fox, standing up. Immediately, the warrior tripped over her own paws in the process and face planted into the snow. She got away... at the cost of her dignity. Moon rose, shaking off the extra snow with a bit of a snort. A couple giggles left her as she turned, playfully batting the space in front of herself. With that, the fox froze, eyes growing wide as a cats on a hunt. The grin grew a bit before the grey and orange fox darted off in a playful chase, leading the leader away from the farmers house. "Catch me if you can!" The vixen shouted back, weaving through the bit of wooded area that grew in Mists territory. Tag: Nyxie

Mist that shrouds the sun Leader of Fieldclan
At the light gesture of defeat, the femme released a supposedly disappointed sigh - belied clearly by the soft wag of her plumed snowy tail - and relinquished her successful pin to let the golden warrior up. At least she certainly got some amusement of watching the other fox wriggle free, before promptly face planting, earning a raucous laugh from her shameless leader and Mist’s golden eyes continued to simply shine with glee. And then she was off. With a playful swipe of air and a widening of her eyes, the warrior had shot off. For a moment, Mist blinked dumbly with a yelp of surprise, before the words floated back to her and a grin spread wide. With nothing else to say, the dame committed in full to the race, launching forth in a flurry of snow and willing her paws to work underneath her as she pelted after her clanmate. Oh how she simply loved racing. With her body flattened toward the ground and her tail streaming behind her, it was clear as she ran, her flecked paws seemingly floating over the icy ground beneath her, that Mist did this allot. Still, while she could win - for it was rare for anyone to ever beat her unless she let them - Mist simply enjoyed the thrill of the chase. So, she let the other fox stay a little ahead as she weaved between trees and raced along. However, before long, she put in a little extra burst of speed and lunged with a false battle cry toward her opponent, aiming to tackle them into the snow once more. Tag: syrrithNotes: boop

//Mist do a zooooom~~~ She honestly sounds so fun to be around lol The sound of the other vixen catching up was heard above the sounding of panting and snow crunching under the weight of the running fox. She certainly wasnt heavy, but weight shift with every stride left small paw prints throughout the fluff. A canine like grin was spread on her face. The pink tongue was lolled out as she weaved through the trees, willing her legs to go a bit faster. The trees began to thin and the grass began to get a bit taller. Ooohh it was going to be harder to fix the smaller fox now!! The fox was getting ready to swiftly turn, dashing into a section of extra long and thick grass to "escape" Mist or maybe even get even. A cry pierce the near silent air, causing Moon to slow down. The snow was sent flying and the female skidded across the upturned snow a little bit though she managed to stay upright. The dark eyes widened a bit when she saw the pale coated fox flying toward her. Man, this fox really liked to tackle. This time, Moon was a bit more prepared, ducking under the females reach and dancing out of the way to avoid being tackled again. "You cant get me that easily!" The gray and cream fox challenged, holding her head up high in a bit of proud stance. This time, Mist hadnt caught her! The grass that Moon had originally planned to hide in came into sight, though Moon didnt feel like to hiding in them anymore. Instead, Mist was allowed to get up while Moon crouched, ears down and eyes wide, primed to pounce on the leader as soon as she rose. Tag: Nyxie

Catching up was a breeze, though, Moon certainly gave her a run for it. It was nice, racing someone fast and as enthusiastic as she was. The only other one really was Stream, but she and Stream were always racing and mucking about. Anyone who visited her clan and didn’t know Mist was a leader would probably never even see the possibility pass her mind. Sure, she was respected, but she didn’t like all the serious high and mighty stuff. The whole tackling business....well, that didn’t go down so great. Apparently prepared for her leader’s antics, the golden fox quickly got out the way, leading to Mist’s eyes widening at the blank snow. With a last minute yelp, she fell into the powder and rolled in a tangle of speckled snowy limbs down the slight slope into a shallow dip, winding up half buried in snow on her back. Rather than getting up, even as Moonlight clearly looked ready to pounce, the snowy fox instead relaxed herself into the snow, letting herself fall limp. Her golden eyes had already been closed, and she let them stay closed, just lying there, an unmoving heap of fluff in the snow. Currently in her mind, there wasn’t even a purpose to her actions. What should she do next? Play dead and freak her clanmate out? Ambush her? Play on the hope the other didn’t see where she landed and not be able to find her snowy self coated with yet more snow? Well, she was sure she could get some fun out of it somehow! Tag: syrrithNotes: boop

//Sorry about the wait!!
The fox remained focus, but the leader never popped back up. There was a bit of confusion swelling in the fox. What happened? Had she hurt herself. Confusion turned to worry and the vixen jumped up, padding over to where the white pelted vixen had rolled down. Snow made the already well camouflaged fur even harder to see. Tracks in the fluffy whiteness helped quite a bit. Moon padded closer, eyes constantly scanning to see any sign of life. She didnt just accidentally kill Mist, right?
"Mist?" Worry weighed down on her words. Moon caught the slight movement of the others chest. So Mist was still breathing. Some worry subsided. This couldnt be a trick, right? Thatd be an awfully mischievous prank to play... Still, even with that in mind Moon still came closer, wondering if Mist had really hurt herself in that tumble.

Mist that shrouds the sun Leader of Fieldclan
In her stillness, Mist could hear the approach of pawsteps crunching on the snow. With thinner fur, no matter how long it was, the young leader found herself cold in the snow. She could feel it seeping into her skin. However, she kept herself still, not even letting her ears or whiskers twitch as she waited, at the very least for a reaction. Worry edged the tentative voice of her clanmate as the golden fox neared. Part of Mist hesitated, wondering if perhaps she oughtn’t prove to be playing a trick. Still, should she make it more realistic....well, her clanmate would only blame herself for whatever harm she believed she’d caused her leader. Better to just make herself look bad, if anything. That, and Mist had never really been one for self-restraint. She was impulsive, and not exactly the most serious unless she had to be. As the other neared, the snowy vixen surged to her paws, twisting to wind up on her paws before patting a soft, sodden speckled paw toward the other. “You thought you could defeat me just like that?” she asked, tone falsely incredulous as the spark of mischief in her golden eyes betrayed her. “Pah, in your dreams!” Despite herself, a shiver rippled across her form, and she shook out her pelt as though she could shake away the cold. Leafbare was truly a pain. Even if she liked snow. Tag: syrrithNotes: boop

Moon jumped when the other vixen leapt up from her game. The worried expression dissolved into one of mock surprise, though relief flooded her. So she want hurt. That was quite a big relief. A joyful laugh came from the vixen at the exaggerated speech. This is the most fun shes had in awhile. Moon opened her maw to shoot back her own dramatic speech, but saw the shiver and slightly ruffled fur. As nice as messing around was, it was a bit nippy out. It wouldnt he anyone if they both froze. Instead, Moon settled a bit. "Its a bit cold out here." She started, stating the obvious. "Hopefully itll warm up soon. Its nice out, but..." Where was she going with this? Moon had already forgotten. A small laugh came from again as she thought. "We can go back to the camp if youd like to warm up a bit. The dens must be a lot warmer than out here~" Nyxie
