Willow That Shades the Riverbank
Lakeclan ♡ Warrior ♡ 20 moons ♡ Vixen ♡ Hetero
APPEARANCESummary: eg: Lithe, silver/black vixen with a white tail tip and orange eyes.
Purchases: N/A
Strengths: swimming, fishing, stealth, running
Weaknesses: jumping, hunting, fighting, agility
In Depth: Willow has never been what one could call large. In truth, she was built more for the water than a creature of the land. Lithe rather than stocky, long limbs and body - All the better to help her swim the waters of her clan or race along the borders. Her fur is sleek instead of wiry, thick to stave off the cold. This has been the staple since she was young. However, the primary shift in looks has been in color; once black as night from nose to hindquarters, she has developed a light dusting of silver fur primarily over her face, flanks, and back. Her eyes are a vibrant orange not unlike the harvest moons in the fall.PERSONALITYPositive Traits: Clever, social, loyal, eager to learn
Negative Traits: Impulsive, stubborn, quick to judge
Likes: Evenings, swimming, listening to others
Dislikes: Early mornings, overly friendly strangers, large scale confrontations
In Depth: Willow can be a bit complicated. While openly welcoming and appearing to be kind by default, it’s not always the case. Chances are she’s judging whether or not she can trust you or not, and it’s typically a quick decision (Which can be damaging either way). This is not to say that she will be impolite or rude if she chooses not to be a friend. She just won’t be as open or...truthful as she might’ve been otherwise. She doesn’t mean anything negative by it; you just aren’t close. However, once she trusts someone, that’s it. They have her for life. When a friend, she’s loyal to a fault - there are times that her stubbornness and dedication to the individual can override loyalty to a larger purpose. Still, if Willow is an ally, you will be hard-pressed to find another who will stand as steadily by your side through any and every disaster.
True to form, Willow tends to make rash judgements when it comes to combat situations as well. She is much more inclined to ambush from the shadows or run to find aid. Thus, when faced with a fight head on, she tends to falter and it may take her a minute to find her feet again. Luckily, resourcefulness has gotten her this far, but not without some pain.
The only time she isn’t impulsive is when she’s fishing, which is where she excels. She likes to spend her time by the stream, staring into the water and waiting for the right moment. This is when she’s most at ease and willing to open up.HISTORYSo far Willow’s had a pretty nondescript life. She was born first in a litter of two, both healthy and happy. She and her sibling could cause mischief (as it was a close bond between them) but were never too troubling.
Her apprenticeship went as expected: Well, but with a couple of bumps now and then. She could be stubborn and stuck in her ways, so sometimes she and her mentor would clash. Yet it caused no serious problems between them and soon enough she earned her formal name.
As a warrior she does her best to follow her duties, though she has yet to mentor an apprentice herself.RELATIONSHIPSMother: Rabbit
